It's best if you're able to equip Glenn with an Umezawa's Jitte that has counters on it since you can attack with the low skulk power and then after blockers are declared and Glenn is unblocked, you simply use the counters to beef him up and reap the rewards
Theyre not all-timer lands, only really being good if you can play one on your first or second turn, but its still nice to see them for more budget Commander decks
White has a lot more support for Soldiers than Mites at the moment, but if you get enough mana (or token-doublers) and have a noncreature way to grant haste, you can get enough poison into an opponent to knock them out
